How
to Become a Partner Agency
Interested in becoming a member agency of Second Harvest Food Bank? Plan to attend our Agency Orientation: The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 9:30 a.m. – 12 noon. For information, please contact Brady Koch, Director of Agency Relations & Programs at (407) 295-1066 or email bkoch@foodbankcentralflorida.org.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida seeks to work with partners among nonprofit agencies that have a 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination from the IRS as well as the Florida Consumer's Certificate of Exemption. In addition, applying agencies must have a mission to feed the hungry, the ability to store food safely and securely, and records to document their food program for at least 90 days.
Submit the application along with the 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination and the Florida Consumer's Certificate of Exemption to the Community Outreach Manager. Upon receipt and verification of the application, the Community Outreach Coordinator will schedule a visit to the agency to look at storage facilities and records, and to answer any questions about the Food Bank. Membership also depends on whether there is a need in the area.
Once this visit has taken place, the agency's packet will be reviewed by the Director of Agency Relations & Programs and partner agency status may be offered.
